Join us for a free lunch and community outreach event for Building Readiness, Awareness, and Community for Early Detection (B.R.A.C.E.D.) of the most common forms of cancer in African American and other underserved populations: breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer.
• Enhancing youth exploration in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in statewide programs, coding and computer programming skills
• Imparting critical thinking and problem-solving techniques
• Hosting community outreach events for maximizing health and wellness awareness
• Connecting social services and financial resources for eligible and low-income families
• Training/education to improve the quality of life for individuals and families
• Developing leadership & presentation skills in underserved youth and young adults
