Mrs. Tracy Elaine Hudson
President and Founder
Mrs. Hudson received the 2023 Equity in STEAM Initiative Award in collaboration with Intel Corporation and YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix.
With community leaders like Tracy Hudson, Intel Corporation and YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix seek to inspire the next generation of Arizona Innovators in STEAM - science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
Women of color make up a growing, 16 percent of the U.S. population, yet they only make up four percent of U.S. scientists and engineers, according to the U.S. National Science Foundation. Through these kinds of community partnerships, Arizona has a tremendous opportunity to include more women and people of color in STEAM to reflect our diverse current and future workforce and drive economic growth. Equity in STEAM connects leaders from across our state to identify barriers and develop innovative solutions to close gender and racial gaps for a vibrant, more inclusive future.
The Vessels of Possibilities President and Founder and community leader, Mrs. Tracy Hudson was presented with the President's Volunteer Service Award for 2020. Presented by AmeriCorps, Tracy received recognition for her commitment to strengthening our nation through volunteer community service.
